Binley Woods Women's Institute
About Us
We started in 1984 at the Middle School in Binley Woods and now we meet at the Village Hall on the
Rugby Road. Our meetings are on the first Thursday in the month at 8.00 pm. Contact us on 024 7654 3217

Why not come and join us, have fun and make new friends?
We have a subscription each year but we also welcome all visitors.
Social Activities
We have talks on subjects such as antiques, gardening, vets, country villages, health, cookery etc. Some are amusing,
some informative.
- We visit other WIs and join in their activities.
- We have buffet evenings, dinners, strawberry teas, quizzes and games evenings.
- We go on coach trips for shopping and sight-seeing.

September 6th - Rod Quilter, History of Corsetry. Competition: Item worn by granny
October 4th - Miss L. Chatman, Belly Dancing. Competition: Most unusual bell
November 1st - Annual General Meeting. Craft. Competition: Craft item
December 6th - Christmas Dinner
