The County Council provide courses at the Library from time to time. A new course from September 2007 is:
Computing for Beginners
Monday 10 September 10.15 am - 12.15 pm, 6 weeks, £42
Discover how to get started with the basics of computing - from turning on and shutting down a PC to saving your
work and making posters. It is not necessary to own a computer in order to attend.
If you are 60 or over, there is a 50% remission on the cost. If you are receiving a means tested benefit the course
is free.
