Finding Binley Woods On-line

When Binley Woods On-line was launched in July 2003, it was publicised within the village. Binley Woods On-line was also submitted to a number search engines. Since Binley Woods On-line was launched, several search engines have disappeared. Most recently Excite stopped providing an internet search facility although it still operates as an information portal. Find-UK ceased in April 2006, Mirago in March 2007 and Freesearch in October 2010.

Most search engines include "Sponsored" listings, mainly irrelevant advertising, ahead of others. Binley Woods On-line is often the first non-"Sponsored" listing. "Sponsored"listings are excluded in determining Binley Woods On-line's position.
