Proposed Development At Coventry Stadium - 15 January 2004

Rugby Borough Council has written to advise people in the village that Templegate Property Consultants has submitted amended site layout plans on behalf Coventry Racing Club Limited. These are in respect of the erection of a kennel building. The application reference number is R03/1085/06592/P. They can be inspected at the Technical Services Department at the Town Hall between 9.00am and 5.00pm Mondays to Fridays.

Interested parties have 10 days from 15 January 2004 to comment on the application. Letters should be sent to John Ware, Head of Planning Services, Rugby Borough Council, PO Box 123, Town Hall, Rugby, CV21 2ZP. Letters, which will be available for public inspection, should relate to planning issues. Mr Ware advises that other factors such as property values will not influence the decision.

Proposed Development At Coventry Stadium - 9 January 2004

Rugby Borough Council has written to people in the village to advise them of plans submitted by Templegate Property Consultants on behalf Coventry Racing Club Limited. The club is applying for planning permission for detailed application for the erection of a kennel building. The application reference number is R03/1085/06592/OP. A report in respect of the assessment of the noise impact of the kennels has now been submitted to the Borough Council. This can be inspected at the Technical Services Department at the Town Hall between 9.00am and 5.00pm Mondays to Fridays.

Planning Permission Granted For Fencing At Coventry Stadium - 4 December 2003

On 4 December 2003, Rugby Borough Council granted planning permission for the erection of a fence at Coventry Stadium. A temporary fence must be removed by 18 December failing which the Council will initiate action to enforce removal.

The approval includes the requirement to plant and maintain trees and shrubs along the outer edge of the fence for five years. This is in interests of the visual amenities of the locality. For the same reason, the fences and gates must be painted in a colour agreed with Rugby Borough Council.
